What is a Gear Pump BG0?
The gear pump BG0 (often also referred to as Group 0.5 or micro pump) is the smallest standardized performance class in hydraulics. It was developed specifically for applications where installation space is extremely limited and only low flow rates are required.
Despite its petite dimensions, it works on the same robust displacement principle as its big sisters. It delivers precise volume flows in the milliliter range and is excellently suited for mini power units and control circuits where space is a scarce commodity.

Selection Criteria & Technical Data
With micro pumps, every millimeter counts. Pay particular attention to the shaft shape, as this often deviates from the standard with BG0.
Important parameters for your configuration:
- Displacement: Typical are very small values from 0.25 cm³/rev to approx. 4 cm³/rev.
- Shaft Shape: Do you need a tapered shaft (1:8) or a Tang drive (jaw coupling) for direct e-motor connection?
- Flange: Pay attention to the matching hole spacing (often "Euro Flange BG0").
- Direction of Rotation: Check the drive direction of your motor (Left/Right) to prevent damage to the seals.
Tip: Since BG0 pumps often sit in compact DC power units (direct current), please also check the speed limits of your electric motor.
