Analog Manometer
Our high-quality Valcon® analogue pressure gauges are specially designed for hydraulic applications and ensure accurate display of the system pressure in your hydraulic network. Whether installed in measuring panels, hydraulic power units or mobile machines, these pressure gauges deliver reliable readings under demanding conditions. The robust mechanical design enables intuitive visualisation of the pressure via a pointer scale, ensuring quick feedback and control.
What are Analog Pressure Gauges?
Analog pressure gauges are the reliable "eyes" of your hydraulic system. As purely mechanical measuring instruments, they operate completely independently of power sources or batteries. They visualize the system pressure in real-time via a pointer on a scaled dial display.
Our high-quality models of the brand Valcon® are mostly based on the proven Bourdon tube principle. They are specially constructed for the harsh conditions in hydraulics, where pressure surges and vibrations are the order of the day. They offer immediate intuitive control – a glance is enough to grasp the operating status.
Advantages of Our Valcon® Pressure Gauges
Why measure analog? Because it is simple and robust. Valcon® pressure gauges are built for durability and offer technical features that are indispensable in mobile and industrial hydraulics.
The technical highlights:
- Glycerine Filling: The damping fluid in the housing prevents the pointer from "fluttering" during vibrations and lubricates the mechanism. The result: Good readability and wear protection.
- Wide Pressure Ranges: Available for low pressure (e.g., 0-25 bar) up to high pressure peaks (0-400 bar or more).
- Robust Design: Housings made of resistant materials (often stainless steel or robust ABS) defy external influences.
Typical Areas of Application for Analog Pressure Gauges
Wherever pressure needs to be monitored without the need for complex electronics, these instruments are the first choice:
- Hydraulic Power Units: Permanent display of the pump pressure.
- Mobile Machinery: Monitoring of working pressures in excavators and agricultural machinery (thanks to vibration resistance). [Image of hydraulic excavator pressure gauge]
- Measurement Panels: Installation in control panels for central monitoring of multiple circuits.
- Troubleshooting: Temporary installation by service technicians to diagnose pressure losses.
Selection Criteria & Technical Data
A pressure gauge must fit the measuring point mechanically and hydraulically. An incorrect measuring range can destroy the device during pressure peaks.
Pay attention to the following configuration points:
- Measuring Range: Expert Tip: Choose the full-scale value so that your working pressure is in the middle third (approx. 2/3 of the scale). This protects the measuring element.
- Connection Position: Do you need the connection at the bottom (radial) for upright mounting or at the back (axial) for panel mounting?
- Nominal Size (NG): Common are Ø63 mm (Standard) or Ø100 mm (better readability from a distance).
- Thread: Check the connection thread (often G 1/4" or G 1/2") to avoid adapters.
