Overcenter valves

Counterbalance valves or overcenter valves belong to the group of load holding valves and are used when negative, pulling loads must be held safely and moved in a controlled manner. During operation, a pressure is generated in the inlet and also a load pressure. This load pressure causes the lowering brake valve to open and the drive then moves at the required speed.
