What is a Throttle Check Valve?
A throttle check valve (DRV for short) is an intelligent combination component for pipeline installation. It combines two hydraulic functions in one housing: An adjustable throttle and a check valve (bypass).
The operating principle is as simple as it is ingenious: In one flow direction (A to B), the oil is forced through a narrowed gap – the speed of the cylinder drops in a controlled manner. In the opposite direction (B to A), the check valve opens and the oil can flow unimpeded. This allows work cycles with different speeds for forward and return strokes.

- Flow (l/min): Select the nominal size so that the maximum pump flow creates almost no resistance in free passage (check valve).
- Connection Type: Common are pipeline threads in BSP (Inch) or Metric. Subplate mounting (Sandwich) is also possible.
- Adjustment Type: Do you want to change the speed often (handwheel) or fix it only once (Allen key/screw)?
- Pressure Range: Pay attention to the maximum permissible operating pressure (e.g., 350 bar).
