A throttle check valve combines two functions in one component: an adjustable throttle for controlling the oil flow in one direction and a check valve that allows free flow in the opposite direction. This makes the valve ideal for applications in which the forward movement of a cylinder is to be throttled, but the reverse movement is to proceed unhindered. Throttle check valves are used in mobile machinery, industrial pipelines, lifting and tilting equipment, and general hydraulic circuits.
