Gear Motors
Gear motors are popular in many industrial and mobile applications due to their reliability, simplicity, and cost efficiency. A typical gear motor consists of two meshing gears within a sealed casing. One of these gears is called the drive gear, which is driven by the hydraulic fluid. The other gear is the driven gear.
How gear motors work: The hydraulic oil is directed into the casing under pressure. This pressure drives the drive gear, which in turn rotates the driven gear through direct contact. The rotational movement of the gears is used to generate mechanical energy. This is done by transferring the rotational movement of the driven gear to the output shaft.
