The LöSi® hydraulic motors of the XMR type are geroller motors. On XMR geroller motors, the valve control is located in the shaft. The drum valve is part of the output shaft. The cardan shaft transmits the mechanical energy from the gear set to the output shaft and thus takes over valve control. This improves the starting behaviour of the motors (rolling friction instead of sliding friction). Our XMR gerotor motors are a favourable alternative to the EPRM® hydraulic motor.
