The B/EPRM series is an intelligent combined solution: It unites a high-quality orbital motor with an integrated, hydraulically released multi-disc brake. This "All-in-One" design saves valuable installation space and reduces piping effort compared to external add-on brakes.
Technically, the series impresses with two main features:
- Geroler Technology: Thanks to rollers in the planetary gear set (instead of sliding friction), the motor starts jerk-free even under load and offers a longer service life.
- Integrated Safety Function: The brake closes automatically in the event of a pressure drop. This ensures secure holding of loads at a standstill.
Important Note: The integrated brake is designed purely as a holding brake (parking brake), not for dynamic braking of rotating loads.
