EPMT/B Hydraulic Motor
The EPMT/B hydraulic motor from LöSi® combines the heavy-duty EPMT Gerotor motor series with an integrated hydraulically ventilated multi-disc brake – ideal for applications that require both high drive power and a reliable holding function. With displacements such as 251.8 cm³/rev, 326.3 cm³/rev or 410.9 cm³/rev and a static holding torque of up to approx. 1,430 Nm (opening pressure 32-35 bar), this hydraulic motor offers excellent performance data. Hydraulic Motors Type EPMT/B
LöSi® hydraulic motors type EPMT/B are geroller motors of the heavy series with integrated hydraulically ventable disk brake . On EPMT/B geroller motors, the valve control is located in the end cover. The distributor valve or poppet valve is driven synchronously with the gear set so that the filling and emptying of the individual chambers takes place precisely and without losses. The poppet valve is separate from the output shaft and is driven by a short cardan shaft (valve cardan shaft). A balance plate balances the hydraulic forces around the poppet valve and thus guarantees high efficiency.All geroller motors have additional rollers in the planetary gear set. This improves the starting behaviour of the motors (rolling friction instead of sliding friction). The hydraulically ventable multi-disc brake works as a holding (static) brake and is not suitable as a service brake.
